Our story

Our team has spent more than a combined 100 years in the trenches of IT — administering servers, architecting networks, developing web platforms, and keeping critical systems running for organisations ranging from small local businesses to government departments and multinational corporations.

Our team brings hands on experience from projects with New Zealand public sector including the Ministry of Education and the Department of Internal Affairs, built enterprise applications for brands like Red Cross, Westpac, Vodafone, Kiwibank, State Insurance, The Body Shop and Auckland Council, and run managed IT services across some of the most connectivity-challenged regions in the country.

When the AI revolution arrived, we didn't jump on a bandwagon. We saw a natural extension of what we've always done: implementing technology that makes businesses more efficient. The difference now is that the technology is more powerful than ever — and it needs people who understand infrastructure, security, and production systems to deploy it properly.

That's why we started AI Developments. To bring that deep operational experience to AI implementation, so businesses across New Zealand can adopt AI with confidence — knowing it's built on solid foundations.

How We Work

 Honesty first

If AI isn't the right solution for your problem, we'll tell you. We'd rather build trust than sell you something you don't need.

 Production-grade

Demos are easy. We build for production — with proper error handling, monitoring, security, and the unglamorous work that keeps systems running.

 Plain language

We explain what we're doing and why in terms anyone can understand. No jargon walls, no hand-waving, no black boxes.

 Long-term thinking

We build solutions with maintenance, scalability, and your team's independence in mind. The goal is to empower you, not create dependency.
